If you have called on Jesus Christ in faith, do not stop here. Salvation is the beginning of a new life with Him.
Baptism is a faithful response to the gospel and a public identification with Jesus Christ. If you have trusted Christ, speak with a Bible-believing church about being baptized.
Do not try to follow Jesus alone. Find a church that teaches the Bible, honors Jesus Christ, practices baptism, and helps believers grow in faith.
Start with the Gospel of John. Then read Acts to see how the early church responded to the gospel. Then read Romans to better understand sin, grace, faith, and salvation.
Speak honestly with God. Thank Him. Confess sin. Ask for wisdom. Learn to depend on Him.
Following Jesus is not only a moment of decision. It is a life of faith, repentance, obedience, worship, service, and growth.
